GEO / GEOSS collaboration
The www.webserservice-energy.org portal is a recognized Renewable Energy Community Portal in the framework of GEOSS AIP (Architecture Implementation Pilot) Development.
In the AIP-2 (Phase 2), a Community Scenario enforcing Web Service interroperability for RE has been made available.Take also a look at the AIP-2 main output:

In the AIP-3 (Phase 3) MINES ParisTech implemented a scenario called "Environmental Impact Assessment of the Production, Transportation and Use of Energy".

Client Development based on Web Service available within the MESoR project
One objective of the EU funded project MESoR is to unify and ease access to solar resource information. A new portal has been developed and serve as a broker to solar resource information and services. See how Graphical Client including off-the-shelf technologies (Google Maps, Ajax,...) can exploit the resources deployed within the webservice-energy.org Community portal.
